Would you rather see the girl in a cute fitted dress or a nice top and a pair of jeans? We would be going to dinner.

I don't go on that many dates as I am pretty picky about who I go out with. Because of this I think I make sure when I go on a first date that I try and make it as memorable as possible. So usually on a first date I take them to a very nice restaurant. (in that case the dress is appropriate.) Or sometimes I would take them someplace off the wall. Like pack a picnic dinner with wine or something like that and go up on a mountain park and have dinner there.(so in this case blue jeans would be appropriate). I just figure if anything over dress for the occasion. Who knows it might be the last first date you ever go on if they are the right one for you.

It depends on the type of dinner you are going to. Is it a formal place? Casual? Is he dressing up? Personally I would probably end up wearing khakis or black pants and a cute top. You can never go wrong with that.....it's semi-dressy, yet not over the top dressy and formal.

skip the jeans and the dress and wear a sexy short skirt with a cute top and long boots... It always works for anything from going out to a nice dinner to just hanging out because it always keeps you looking and feeling sexy...

When I was 17, I had a girl answer the door wearing just a towel, for a first date. She said she had just gotten outta the shower. Was a nice date.

I think you should wear whatever make you feel good and attractive.. if you feel good about yourself then the other person will also feel good about you... If your going out to dinner .. you might want to dress up a bit.. depending on the restaurant ... Have fun

I would definitely go for a cute dress. A cute dress will make you look feminine and boost your confidence.

i'm a guy. definitely the dress is better, but either one is fine. it's just important to look like you put some effort into your appearance for the date, to show you like him and care about how you look for him. a dress shows that well, and also just looks really nice. :)
