Tell her how you feel and set some ground rules. Ask that she not text other people when you are together unless it is important. Tell her that if being on the phone is more important that spending time with you, then she must not care for you the way that you care for her. Let her know that she can be replaced!

That's so disrespectful to you. I went to lunch with a guy who was texting the entire time. There was absolutely no conversation involved with us. You need to tell her straight up to just keep it to a serious minimum around you. I mean is texting that serious? I like to text, don't get me wrong...but when it's necessary, I put the phone away. Tell her how you feel, and ask her to do that simple thing for you. If she can't do that for your relationship then she won't give up different things in the future.

Take a phone with you and the first time you have a chance to talk to her, send a text message to one of your friends. Continue sending these messages, when ever she starts talking to you. Maybe she will realize how rude. she is and stop texting when you are together.

tell her she can texts all she wants, but not when it's you and her time.if she continues to do so do the same to her to see how she feels and maybe she'll understand how you feel, but always tell her how it makes you feel and that you just want to spend time with her not her and the other people she's texting ....hopefully this will work for you otherwise she's not worth it if she wont put her phone down to spend good time with you..............hope this advice helped a little @least

The people who answered your question is correct. Her texting while with you is indeed very rude. If she cant curb, tell her you rather not hang with her. Or you can pay back in the same manner. SMS while with her to let her feel how is it like to be treated like you are invisible or sth...

wait it out, people get bored with texts, if it persists for longer then have a talk with her, but don't say it in an attacking form and make an arguement about it, if it starts blowing up into an arguement then be the mediator.

Welcome to the new millennium, everyone has them. It's not because she is ignoring you or is thinking of something else, it's seriously almost sub-conscience at this point. I do it too, there are no ill or malice feeling involved. It's really just a habit.

Confront her.
Tell her exactly why it bugs you, and politely ask her to turn her phone off or put the text message ringer on vibrate.
If she doens't cooperate, then she's not worth your time.
