Hi, I'm currently selling a male teacup Yorkie. Right now he is 2.2 lbs and will only be around 3-3.5 lbs full grown. He is neutered and has all of his shots up to date. Please let me know if you are interested. You can contact me through email at missyd4@eden.rutgers.edu or sweetnlow406@aol.com
Thanks

There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie! Yorkies are one breed, one standard, and only get to a certain weight (around 7 lbs I believe). Why would you want a substandard, unhealthy runt that will probably die young? Why don't you educate yourself on the Yorkshire Terrier breed and make an informed decision so you don't get screwed out of hundreds or thousands of dollars for a mutt/runt. You can find a good pet quality yorkie for around $500 from a reputable breeder looking for a pet home. You could also go to your local shelter and find a mix that looks similar to a yorkie...maybe even a purebred yorkie...for a lot less than going to a bad breeder that doesn't care about their dogs.

What you want doesn't exist. When it comes to puppies, breeders call the shots, not you. Yorkies start at about $1000 and go up from there. Teacup size Yorkies are usually very unhealthy because their unnaturally small size causes all kinds of health problems. Responsible breeders know this and purposefully breed their animals to avoid teacup size dogs. If you must have one, you will pay big bucks for it, and while a breeder can estimate the adult size of a puppy, it's just a guess. Responsible breeding and a healthy animal are far more important than size or gender or price, and in the long run you'll enjoy a well-bred dog more than you will one that meets a laundry list of criteria.

Your dog will need to be shipped.. There is no such thing as a teacup anything.. Your dog is being made right now at a puppymill.. They are the only ones producing ' teacup ' ( under standard ) dogs..
You will need the dog shipped cause puppymills don't want you at their facility. You cannot meet the parents cause they live in cages and are covered in crap and are being bred to death as we speak.. You will not know how big the puppy will be cause the puppymill could careless what you really want, as long as you have cash..
If you want a sick dog that will not last long, that is full of health problems, if you want to support puppymills and backyard breeders... Then you should remember to purchase dog health insurance..
If a ' breeder ' (choke) breeds only small to small to produce your little dogs, they take nothing else into consideration.. Small is all that counts.. You lose health, temperament and everything else, for the sake of a tiny wee doggie that you can carry around in your purse when you go to the mall...
Go to the shelter and rescue a real yorkie... OR forget it.

Yorkies in my area go for about $1100. Ours is about 7 lbs now. She was 2 lbs when we got her at 10 weeks old.
"teacups" are tiny and usually difficult to keep in good health. A lady at work bred her tiny Yorkie only once, and said the mother and the pups all were in and out of the vet's office constantly, and cost her over $1000 each in vet bills, plus other careful care. With the time she took off of work, she charged $2500 for the smallest one. For safety of the mother the vet has to do a C-section. Tiny males are usually especially expensive since the seller knows they are potential breeders of other expensive puppies.
The reason you just see celebrities with teacup Yorkies, is that they are rare and expensive to breed and maintain. A an hour or two too many without food or water and they can go into shock and die.

There is no such thing as a teacup in any breed, it is a term given to smaller than standard dogs by BYB and puppymills to sell them for more money.
If you do find anyone that breeds teacups, run away because you will undoubtedly be sorry you did not. People that breed teacups do not have the necessary health and genetic tests done to prevent illnesses in the puppies and all they care about is the money they will be making on the pups. The pups that come from this type of breeder are usually sickly and end up costing a fortune in vet care.

There is no such thing as a "Teacup" Yorkie or Teacup anything. The last place i'd be getting a puppy from would be from a pet store. Most all of their puppies come from puppy mills. Visit AKC.org, there you'll find a list of breeders of Yorkies. Or Google "Yorkshire terrier breed clubs" to find a good breeder of Yorkies.

The term teacup is just a fancy word breeders use to sell the runt of the litter for really high prices because people want tiny dogs. The tinier pups are the weak and usually unhealthy ones. Yorkies in general are very small usually 5-7 pounds, so look for one in that range. Small dogs require quite high maintenance because they can get hypoglycemic if not fed often and they can die. Always, adopt one if you can at local shelters/ rescue orgs.

Good luck. Everybody wants a tiny something preferably a Yorkie. They are always sick or have genetic flaws because they really don't exist. Their "class" isn't recoginized in dogs shows for a reason. No Teacups just Toys. Whatever you do, don't buy one on-line. Why not check out a shelter? Do something for a little one who really needs help.

A Yorkie is a DOG, not a fashion accessory. The designation "Teacup" is just a catch-word to make gullible people think this dog is more valuable than another dog. It isn't. Check with the puppy mills. They specialize in those.
Oh ... and the first time it gets a case of the runs while riding in your (fake) Hermes handbag ... you will realize it's just a dog, after all!
