I happen to know that other Nissan vehicles carry Sirius and I do not see why I cannot use a tuner from one of those since there isn't a specific one for my car. The dealer and audio shops keep trying to tell me I need to get the external unit. I already have that, besides why put another antenna on my car when it has one built in. I want all the info through my factory radio too. There has to be a way to change the XM unit for a Sirius.

I have the technology package. The only thing I want changed is XM to Sirius. Can I use a tuner from a Maxima or another Nissan vehicle , and use the factory Satallite radio antenna to convert over to Sirius.

After 2007 Nissan Altimas either have factory installed XM or Sirrius. Technology package with that option also has Navagation steering wheel blue tooth. And as far as I know it your stuck with poor quality sound FM modulated sirrius radio. Or take the Coupe back and trade up to the 3.5 liter V6 and all the options it will be worth it. You will get the fully loaded car and be happy. Oh by the way that little shark fin antennia is necessary even with sirrius. When it is factory it also matches the color of the car.
