Hi. I have been with my boyfriend for a year now and we are very much in Love. We live together and are very serious about our relationship - we have discussed the possibilty of marriage and he has suggested the idea of proposing at the end of the year. Whilst I am very excited about this and can see a very bright future for us both I am concerend about the way he deals with arguments. I know its normal to disagree sometimes, but he has a very bad habit of 'turning the tables' so to speak. he has never done anything seriously wrong, the arguments we have are mostly over silly things like when we are tired or in bad moods, but he has a bad habit of playing the blame game and cannot admit when he is wrong. If he is at fault then he really struggles to apologise and will try & find a way to turn the situation around so it is somehow my fault. It's very tiring & I find it very emotionally draining & have considered leaving purely because I find it so childish. What should I do?

Accept the fact that he might never change. He sounds stubborn, which is not a good trait in a husband, and you're right, it's childish. Smart men know that saying "I'm sorry" goes a long way to keeping a relationship strong and happy. I wouldn't marry him unless you two can learn to fight fairly. You haven't even begun to explore all the things you can disagree about until after you get married, trust me.
