Yep, I'm divorcing my wife as soon as gay marriage is legalized. I suppose we all must get divorces once gay marriage is legalized. How horrible!
Actually, I guess the divorce is optional, isn't it? I mean, legalizing gay marriage will destroy marriage totally, so I wouldn't even have to pay a lawyer to divorce my wife. I'll just look at her and say, "Well, Adam and Steve got married now, so I guess our relationship just plain sucks. Those darned gays!"

Your heterosexual marriages are already in lots of trouble. About half of them don't even last. Then there are the issues of adultery, unequal roles, spousal and child abuse, drug abuse, and financial problems. Oh, and let's not forget the heterosexuals who don't even bother to get married and have children, the deadbeat dads and the moms who drown or kill their own children. Finally, we have shining examples of the heterosexual respect for the sanctity of marriage such as Britney Spears getting married for a few hours and Senator David Vitter cavorting with prostitutes. Gay people can't possibly do a worse job at it then heterosexuals have.

Why are you so threatened by gay marriage? How does other people getting married have any affect on your marriage? Why are only certain people allowed to make public, legal life time commitments, while others are denied that basic right?

It is so incredibly wrong for the government to tell homosexuals that their love is something less than the heterosexual love, just because our government is run by a bunch of Christian bigots.

After straight people introduced open marriages, couple swapping, divorce rates higher than birthrates, spousal abuse, domestic violence, polygamy, and whatever the hell else they felt like "playing with"--what makes you think there's anything left for gay people to destroy?
