You have to learn to choose your battles very carefully.
If he doesn't normally make you dinner and have some Barry on in the background when you get home - he's definitely feeling genuinely sorry and knows that he said something wrong.
Best to just let it go and be thankful that you have a man who realized that he was possibly being a jerk and righted it.
Like I said - choose your battles wisely, some things aren't worth fighting for and some things are - only you can determine which is which.
However if he makes a habit out of saying things that hurt you - you should definitely take a step back and think about whether or not you want to devote yourself to someone so hurtful.

that is a hard answer. It depends on you really. Will this sit inside of you and fester and start another fight later on or make a smaller fight a bigger one b/c you can't let this go? If the answer is no, you can let it go, then let it go. If it will bother you, then talk to him about it now so that you both can move on. There are times when fighting is healthy if both people learn from it to make the bond stronger.
Or don't fight, but, meerly mention it as a passing by comment, I was really upset b/c of what you said, AND TELL HIM WHY IT UPSET YOU and then let it go. good luck.

Well, if you forgave him then you don't want to fight about it. Tell him that whatever he did really offended you or hurt you, etc. If he doesn't apologize I'd be upset. Never assume they say I'm sorry..make sure they do. But if they say sorry, make sure they show it. Actions speak louder than words.

It depends on how serious the situation was. I always try to pick and choose my battles, because I have found that if you start to fuss too much they begin to ignore you all together.

Let it go.
Picking at a scab only makes it bleed again.
My ex was catholic and I once said that the catholic church was from Satan (egads!), she flipped and .... we never talked about religion again!
