Ok, I have been that girl.
I was dating a real jerk. But did not realize it....its tough to explain.
But anyway, this one guy that I met was a real sweetheart. And he told me that he liked me. And at frist, it didn't really matter. But he kept asking me if I wanted to hang out and everything, and it really showed me what a nice guy I COULD be with.
Seeing a nice sweet guy that actually cared about me, and just didn't want to get in my pants helped open my eyes to see what a jerk I was with.
So I left the jerk...finally.
And now I am with Brandon (the sweet guy)....and its been about 8 months...and I plan on being with him for much longer.
So my advice would be to let her no you like her, and how much you care. do nice things, ask her to go places, let her know how good of a boyfreind YOU can be.

She's in that situation because as bad as it seems, something about ti works for her. You should make yourself available but be warned: women who go for that crappy type usually STAY in that mindset for sometime. You are probably not on her radar.
HOWEVER, if it was me. I would put myself out there just to let her know how I felt. She could make her choice form there.

You might thinks he treats her like crap, but some girls like that, and theres nothing you can do until she comes to her senses.
