It could be that you just need to be adjusted. Try going to the chiropracter before you assume scoliosis.
Best of luck.

Mild scoliosis is quite common. Does it affect the way you move. It can be corrected with surgery but why put yourself through this if it is only mild. Why not put your energy into thinking about something positive about yourself and dwell on that.

You should go and get evaluated by a Chiropractor. Uneven hips could be from a number a things, including a leg length difference (which can easily be fixed with a heel lift that fits in your shoe) or (more commonly) it could be from fixation of the pelvis. Your pelvis rotates as you walk, run and jump and just like the other joints of your body it can become stuck in abnormal positions causing unleveling of the hips. Give Chiropractic a shot...you may be surprised by how good you feel after an adjustment.

Start by gettinfga proper diagnosis. The usual treatment for scoliosis is wearing a back brace at night, not surgery.
Your problem may be poor posture related to your change in weight and finding a new center of balance.

your scoliosis should have been corrected along time ago. if youre a teen, they may give you a brace which you have to wear for at least 23 hours of the day. thte other option is surgery. get it corrected because it will cause problems in the near future. you can end up with lungs problems and difficulty delivering just to name a few things.

Go to a chiropractor or doctor for x-rays. It may not even be scoliosis.
Whatever the case, if you're still growing, it can be corrected by a brace if it's very minor. If not, it's not bothersome if you can get treat regularly.
Good luck!

how old are you? It depends on the age. and the angle and degree of the curvature of you spine, if your young it can still be corrected by exercise and braces for scolio, you should approach a physical therapist and a physician to for check up, they might require you a x-ray to detect the proper treatment for you..
i hope this helps...
seek a physician first and a pt before a chiropractor
