I am expecting an answer like "because God spoke to the Jews in the Old Testament in a special way that they didn't realize."

Then how do you know God isn't speaking to the atheists at present in a special way?

Those who believed that God was going to send a Savior...it was counted to them for salvation...they were Christians / Saints.

The Old Testament is the preparation for the covenant in which God works purely through other people. In the Old Testament, the very good people were born when God overcame age, virginity, lack of a partner and so on. That was the preparation and until then, God will speak through the divinely conceived.

Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that isn't my answer.
Actually, my answer is

Where do you get the idea that non-Christians are all immoral, or, for that matter, that all Christians are moral?
Someone needs to clarify for you...Christians are people who know that they have sinned, and who have turned to Jesus to help them to overcome the sin in their lives.

Anybody who tries to tell you that they are somehow "holier" than you, or "better" than you, because they "know Jesus", while you do not, actually doesn't know Him at all...

The second part of your question sort of mystifies me, though. How can God "speak" to a group of people who are sure in their own minds that He does not exist?
I can only suppose that your remark was meant to point out how foolish the remark about non-Christians being immoral is?
I...

hope??

May God be with you, whether you believe in Him or not.
Maybe...just maybe, now...
if you can put your disbelief aside...
if you can quiet your mind...
if you can listen with your heart...
you just might hear the still small voice of God.

May God be with you and bless you...
whether you believe in Him or not!!

God has had 3 laws for mankind. First was patriorichal, Second was the Law of Moses, and the final was the law of Grace under Jesus. The Old Testament is of no use to us more than to bring us to understand the New Testament that we are to follow. We are taught differently from the teachings under the other two laws.

Today, God speaks to everyone the same way. God does not single out anyone but we are to all be one in Christ Jesus.

The times of people's ignorance God winked at but today demands all to come to repentence and to follow Him.

I am not sure about the people of the Old Testament. I know we will one day understand. We all make immoral choices and I being a Christian am no better than you, an atheist. You being an atheist do not have any more sin than I do as a christian. The big difference is having our sin forgiven and the slate wiped clean. And we can both have that, you are just not ready for it for one reason or another. That is ok too, God's knows your heart and mine.

non Christians invented morality EG. 220 BC Confucius or 550 BC Buddha . or the code of Hammurabi stolen for the ten commandments get real with your premises .then you can address the ole testament in all it's glorious lunacy.
it also accurs to me that they should base their religion on theft because they stole every redeemible principle from prior history the jews from the egyptians the hindus predate mesopotamia the Christians stole and exploited nearly all previous tenets including Mithraism . your present day god may be mean jealous and wrathful but he is also a crook.

People are good or bad according to their conduct not on religion. Jesus or Allah or Rama always preached love and harmony. These so called religionists bended the true religion to fit their personal agenda. Dont forgett all religion are the different versions of the same truth- God. Each hs chosen its own way to reach god and thats it

what about those who support to this date the actions taken by religious groups in the old and new testament? where are their morals in all this?where are their morals for condemning homosexuals ,bombing and killing abortion clinic personnel? smoking and drinking while prego that is just as bad but I know plenty of good little Christians who do that! how about giving pity to those they think are below them for not believing as they do!
It will be a cold day in Hell if i would lower myself to the hypocritical double standard of many Christians or other religious believes as I have finally come to the conclusion that they are the ones that need some serious saving!

Nowhere is it stated so.Those are your suggestions which can not be substantiated. You will need to state source of your allegations before you make such a serious statement.Iam a christian and those are not my views and i think no christian has such view on non Christians either.
