I am in a pickle, i need advice in all this, it would be much appreciated, thank you!
Okay, so my guy is in the Marines (let's nickname him "M"), if you have read my past posted questions, you will know who i am talking about. So anyway, he's gone. I miss him a lot and he misses me too. He's been gone for a month and i got with someone during that month. The guy was a great guy (Let's call him "D"), i liked him, he treated me very well... in the end, M called me and told me he loves me. (We weren't together when he left)
He tells me he wants to get back together and so i break up with the other guy and told him the whole story of why i was breaking up with him; that i couldn't love him--that i'm in love with M. I had met a great deal of his family and liked being with everyone. But i'd continue to find EXCUSES why it wouldn't work out and i'd think about HIM. Whenever M would call me, i'd get butterflies in my stomach and everything! M is in the same pickle as me

I would wait for M, but when he gets back, take it really slowly.
I come from a family that takes marriage seriously-- eight of my dad's siblings, seven of my mom's siblings, three of my siblings, and about fifteen of my cousins are married. The only one who is not still with his wife is a marine who married just before shipping out.
It's a tough deal those guys have, and they aren't always as stable as they think. Wait and see, love him, but be patient. Good luck.

Tell M to wait till he gets back. Deployments change us. He might not be the same as he left. One of my X has another X, who is a Marine. They were on/off until he left. Everything seemed cool until he got back... Nonetheless, you've already broke it off with this D? Then take some time. Keep talking to M and see how things work...

Man that is a tough one. You just need to be with whomever you feel the most love for and who you think would be the right choice for you in the long run. If one makes you happier than the other, then thats who you should be with. Dont let the other things like family perue your decision. Just pick who you have more feelings for.

I think that you really love M. But you may be confused because you liked D very much. and dont listen to that girl who called you bad names. because she doesnt know what shes talking about. i think that maybe you should take some time to think about who yoiu may like more. it seems that your confused. but really i cant tell you to go with M or D. i just cant say that because only you know your true feelings. i think that if you take a little time you can figure out what you really want to do and who you really want to be with. to me it sounds that you really love M. i give you the best of luck!

Obviously "M" is the guy for you at this point. You were quite ready to drop D for him when M wanted to get back together. So give it a shot, or you'll always have "what if" in the back of your mind.
