My 666th answer was to a question about Adam and Eve, and someone asking if we were all decendents of them. (I'm a christian, so i said yes.)
I'm gonna go think about this, ha. Kind of scary though if you're a christian.
Also, i've never even noticed that there was an answer counter before i saw that. I just kind of saw it right here right now.
Does this mean that i should change my ways, and that i'm heading for hell? Like, a message from God?

Peace and grace to you sister. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says God doesnt count our sins against us. Romans 4:8 says the same thing. Do not be afraid. This is what Jesus will say to you. ALL your sins have been punished in the body of JESUS. It cannot be punished twice. That would be double jeopardy. Be sure that God loves you so much. Enjoy His peace and favour upon you. Even in your sins, He still smiles at you. ok? This truth will make you win over sin. I see no flaw in you. Song of songs 4:7 :) ENJOY!!!

Don't let "random" numbers get to you.
Greek numbers were "quasi-decimal" numbers with accented letters representing digits, along with other letters for 10-90 and others for 100-900. This meant it was possible to "add up" a name. By that system, Nero added up to 666. That is likely the intended meaning from Revelation, especially in light of the fact that the PRIMARY focus of the book was THEIR IMMEDIATE FUTURE, NOT THE DISTANT FUTURE. The figurative language is describing Jesus acting to rescue the Christians of that time from the persecution they were suffering.
Revelation 1:1 and 22:6 (effectively the beginning and end of the book) both state that the things it describes "must happen QUICKLY." ...Revelation was written TO RELIEVE THE FEARS of those persecuted Christians that God had forgotten or abandoned them. It was NOT written to make modern Christians afraid of bar codes, numbers, microchips...
Contrary to the pop-theology "left behind" series, Peter writes that, at Jesus' return, "EVERYTHING will be destroyed," meaning no one or no thing will be "left behind."
2Peter 3:7 BY GOD’S WORD THE HEAVENS AND EARTH OF TODAY ARE BEING RESERVED FOR FIRE. They are being kept for the day when God will judge. Then ungodly people will be destroyed.
...
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. THE HEAVENS WILL DISAPPEAR WITH A ROAR. FIRE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THEM. God will judge the earth and everything in it.
11 So everything will be destroyed. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.
12 Live like that as you look forward to the day of God. It will make the day come more quickly. ON THAT DAY FIRE WILL DESTROY THE HEAVENS. ITS HEAT WILL MELT EVERYTHING IN THEM.
... Here is the entry from NIV Study Bible Notes on Rev. 13:18: 666. Various schemes for decoding these numbers result in such names as Euanthas, Lateinos, and Nero Caesar. Others take 666 as a symbol for the trinity of evil and imperfection—each digit falls short of the perfect number 7.

Only if yours was the 6th answer to the question...lol
Just kidding, I once was driving a car and realized that it was about to turn 66,666 miles on the odometer. Then to my amazement I realized that it was going to happen at mile marker # 6. I did the only thing I could think of and slowed down to 66 miles per hour when it happened. This is a true story and I'm still here years later. Like the answer above says, it's a symbolic number but not how God communicates to us.

Only if the 666 suddenly appears on your hand or forehead!
I believe a lot of people take the number 666 too seriously. It is the number of the beast, probably some sort of governmental system, and only in that context should the number "creep you out."

No, it just means that you are culturally programmed to see significance in numbers just because they have three or more of the same digit, and you are religiously programmed to be scared of the number 666 even though it is no scarier than 665 or 667. It just means you should quit being so superstitious.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go hang a horseshoe over my doorway. You can't be too careful when there's black cats crossing your path!

It's merely a coincidence. If you keep answering questions, eventually there will be a 666th question. If you ever answer questions in this section, then there's a fair chance it will be on a religious topic. I wouldn't let it bother me if I were you.

There is no need to fear the number six hundred and sixty-six. It's just a number. God speaks to us through His Word, not through signs and wonders.
