This is the Christ's generation that will lives forever. Those who believe in Christ has died for them and so they die no more will live a life of immortality are now being fulfilled right before the unbeliever's eyes.
Of course , the unbelievers goes by the Bio-sciences and Cloning - the humanistic ways to counterfeit God's Way.

Those plans are still there. After the tribulation and rapture, Jesus will be coming to set up his kingdom on this renewed earth. This old earth will be restored to once perfect state and the believers in Christ will inherit the kingdom of God, which will be this restored earth. There will be 144,000 that will reign over it as kings and queens and an innumerable amount will inherit the earth! It is there in revelation.

Life IS eternal. If you are dying then you have denied this ancient saying. What you "think" about the plan has no affect on the plan. BE HERE NOW! Earth is not forever as is true for all matter. Find the basis of the Life in you and express that in it's fullness. That is the plan!

The first poster is correct. He could have easily forced us to love him. Instead of us being born in a physical world, he could have simply had us made in the spiritual world. However, it isn't a true showing of faith on the part of his followers if they are forced to love him.
This way he can weed out the good from the bad and only have those who deserve him.

There is no god and probably never was. There is no intelligent design and thus there is no plan.
We are saved through our own endeavor, but we are only saved in our own life. There is no afterlife.
When you die, your body will decompose and feed other life forms. The spark of individualism you believe is a soul is nothing more than the sum of your life experiences and your DNA.
When you die, it will be like you are asleep--nothingness. Nothing will exist to you. You will not even be aware of yourself because you will not exist.

God, being a fiction, had nothing to do with it. Immortality is not a prerequisite for evolutionary success, and since it isn't free, evolution hasn't provided it.

We are designed to live in different bodies if we choose, not necessarily on Earth. It is one of the least societies to inhabit.
There is nothing wrong with the setup. Your view is too narrow.
