Unfortunately a healthy lifestyle is achieved better in the long run when weight comes off slowly....
If you incorporate working out...you will be surprised how much easier weight comes off and even its not just weight its in inches. That's what I was taught through personal training...they measure my hips, waist, etc every 6 weeks to show the difference...
Try not to worry so much about what the scale says...I stay away from other "weight loss aids" because for one I will feel better about myself by losing it in a good way and there is no telling what side effects will come from diet pills. I had a reaction one time that sped up my heart rate so fast that I thought I was going to have to go to the doctor.
Just think - slow and steady wins the race

That's what I used to say a few months back. I used to weigh 163 lbs. Tried the Stillman's diet (very similar to the Atkins's diet) and lost about 25 pounds. I will never do it again. I had low blood pressure and I was dizzy and had a headache all the time I was on the diet. I weigh 138 (probably 140 now) and people still say I'm chubby. The only reason I did the diet is because I wanted to see results fast....I did see good results pretty fast on the scale but unfortunately I didn't notice it that much when I looked at myself in the mirror. I probably lost muscle mass instead of fat. So eventually I didn't get what I wanted. But at least I'm in the healthy weight-range. And I honestly don't care when people say I'm chubby. I'm pretty confident about my body...even when I was at 160. So instead of doing a crash diet that will affect your health and won't give you the results you want, just try to eat healthy, exercise, try stop being conscious about your body and give up on junk food. That's how I kept the weight off. It would take long to lose weight that way....but it's worth the wait.

Hey Melissa!
I worked at a gym, and have done some weight loss goals also. If you lose it too fast, you will gain it back fast. slow and steady can win the race sometimes. You may need to add some nutritional supplements to your daily plan, so your body wont think your trying to starve it. It gets really testy about that.It can seem to have a mind of its own. Try snacks that have a lot of fiber, so you will feel stuffed, even though you haven't eaten a lot, or taken in bad calories. there are a lot of factors, that vary with each person. metabolism, diet, activity, and state of mind. Did you know that negative thinking can sabotage every goal you make. If you don't believe you will lose weight, you wont. say what you want and not what you don't want. say, I am going to do this, not, this is too hard, I don't think I can. That is what you are telling yourself subconsciously. You are telling your body, don't even try, you will find yourself eating stuff you really dont want to, without hardly even noticing, or it will be hard to fight the urge, because you think you are defeated anyway.
Also, try and find a really positive, go getter, to buddy up with. it is hard to be negative, or quit, when the other person is working hard, and not even considering it.
I hope I said something that will help. That is what we are here for, to support each other.

Move more and eat less while maintaining a safe level of food intake.
If you want to lose weight faster, move more, walk, jog, work out however you are able to.
Losing weight fast is temporary at best and unsafe at worst.
2.5 to 3 pouds a week is safe after youhave been dieting and working out. the first week or two you may lose more (5-6 pounds) but most of it will be water weight.
There is no instant fix that is safe. From the tone of your question, you may be suffering from depresion as well and should probably consult a counselor or psychaiatrist or psychologist.

Losing weight too fast isn't healthy which sucks.
I hate working out and dieting, but I lost about 20 pounds by using one of these free online food journals like thedailyplate.com where you can really see how many calories you're actually eating. Once I realized how many calories I was really eating every day I was shocked. You can also enter your weight every day and any activities you do, like cleaning house or jogging. then it tells you how many calories you've burned.
I also stopped using butter on stuff like rice, potatoes and noodles which was a huge help. There's s a whole 100 cals in just a tablespoon and it's all fat and I stopped putting half and half or milk in my coffee. I started eating fat free Greek yogurt like Fage. It's really thick. if it's too sour for you, just add a little honey. Use chicken broth when you make rice.
After a little while, you don't miss all the yummy butter and cream at all. Between that and really keeping track of what you're eating it seems to go by faster and you get used to eating less.

LOL...oh how I miss phen-fen! That was the BEST! I'm using Alli now and walking 40-55 mintues 4-5 days a week at the gym. So far this month I have lost about 6 pounds! woo hoo to me!
I was riding the exercise bikes and using the toning and strenghting machines... did that for about 3 months with little actual weight loss...even though things were looking better ..but what kicked in the actual pounds dropping off is the walking!
I like the alli too. You really do need to watch what ya eat BUT it you do go over board on the fat grams...you see them come out the next day! I actually like the "treatment effects" means it is Working!
GET OUT OF UR FUNK AND START CARING AGAIN
If you don't have a gym membership...GET ONE...you will be more likely to go everyday (or several times a week) if it's costing you MONEY!
GOOD LUCK!!!

There really is no majical answer to losing weight fast. I fasted for 4 days and was out of it. I eventually went back eating bad again. The program Body for Life from Bill Phillips isn't too bad. The book is easy to read and the program is for 3 months. You may not lose as much weight as you do look fit and trim. You also feel better too.

If you want to lose weight the most healthy way is the Herbalife Shapeworks program. This stuff is great because you get great energy and at the same time you can lose up to 15 to 30 pounds in one month depending on how big you are and your body. Anyway you can get a free sample pack plus shipping costs that includes 3 days worth of samples and a DVD and several other packets of info on the products. Go to www.mydiet4u.com to order one and you will also be assigned a nutrition coach that walks you through everything and kinda is there to keep the boot in the rear to keep you true to the diet so that you see results and meet your goal. And the price all depends on how much weight your trying to lose or if you just want to gain energy. Just check it out you might like it. Good luck and I hope this helps.
email me at jzalesky@mydiet4u.com and I will set up a time to talk to you on the phone and we will get you set up and figure out how to get you losing that weight!

2) Eat steam food, vegetables, fruits
3) drink plenty of water and green tea
4) Avoid junk food, snacks and soda drinks
5) have 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate size only) to keep the tummy satisfied

If you really want to lose it fast, just cut out all carbs, this includes fruits and sauces on your meat and steaks. No candy, juice, starches, bread, pasta, or rice. Try the phase 1 of the South Beach Diet. Pounds will come off fast in just 2 weeks and you'll see results in 2 days.
But if you lose it fast, you'll gain it fast as well.
