NO> it is against the law, and you can be arrested for it, taken off your flight, and really get into a lot of trouble. Further, you could cause a lock down of the airport. You need to talk to your children BEFORE you go to the airport and stress the importance of NOT making a joke about this stuff.

It is a Federal offense to even joke about hijacking a plane.

So, sure, try it... and you will be promptly arrested, will get to spend several hours with the FBI and then put in jail with out bail awaiting trial in Federal Court.

They might actually have you arrested and searched and even detained. And they probably won't let you get on the flight. Bombs are a very sensitive subject, especially after 9/11

Um yeah, I'll bet they think it is a ******* riot, just like telling a cop on the street that you a gun under your seat and a bag of dope in your pocket.

Christ man, I'm about as liberal as they come, but that question even makes me scratch my head.

They probably DO like it. It gives them something to do...

Like watch federal agents haul you off in handcuffs and charge you with a federal crime.

Good Luck.

That "joke" could get you arrested. It's called making a terrorist threat.

not only do you tick off security, you also tick off the other passengers whom you have inconvenienced and caused to miss their flights cause you and your "humor" screwed up the process and put the whole airport on alert.
