Thank you for the spiritual pain point. In this case, however, what is the fire and brimstone all about?

Oh, oh! you mentioned worms and food, off to fridge/heaven I go. (Moley visits the coldest place, she knows, then to hell's kitchen on earth).

At death, not everything is annihilated. By science, energy is conserved, matter is conserved and is converted into another form without being destroyed. So by the same token, we have a human soul that is not destroyed. At resurrection day, we will be revived and will go to either heaven or hell. Hell is for those whose sin penalties are not taken away by Jesus. Sin still remains, and a holy God cannot tolerate those who have sinned and rejected Jesus to go to heaven. Hell is a place of torture for the soul. The soul has consciousness and will feel the pain of hell. It is no joking matter. The Bible is historically true and proven by archaelogy and medical science that its instructions are accurate, eg. circumcision, The Flood, The temple of Solomon have been researched by doctors and archaelogists. Since the Bible is true on this matter and in prophecies (Israel came together miraculously in 1948, as prophesied by the Bible, the moon becoming red as prophesied and in many other prophecies), Jesus is true in saying that there is a heaven and hell. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

The soul can feel pain. Have you felt emotional pain? That is a manifestation of the soul feeling anguish. The soul lives forever. There is a science experiment that says that the body weighs lighter just before and after death. That could be attributed to the soul leaving the body. It is the soul and spirit that will either go to heaven or hell.

Blessings to you.

Not really sure but everything I've read seems to indicate that people are more alert/aware/sensitive to both good and bad *after* they die.

Also, I'd say that the spiritual is more reality than the physical and that spiritual pain is more acute.

Who said it's physical pain ?

Wailing and gnashing of teeth is usually indicative of deep emotional pain.

You will be given a new body (your old body but complete and in tact and in better shape then it was in when you died).

That's because we will be resurected. Plus, your sould feels a lot anyway, no?

It amazes me how all this people know exactly whats going to happen in their afterlife and yours. Whereas most of em don't know how to make that mortgage payment and where that money is coming from.
