i'm making a crystal ball i have a glass ball i want to paint it, i want to opal look. i was told it was called an erodecent look
(if thats how you spell it) its the look of diffrent colors when you move it around or the light hit it. i have look on the inter net and asked everyone and now one knows if you have any ideal please help i really want to do this the one with the best awnser that works will get the most points there is to give

Note that if you don't use glass paint, it's likely to scratch & peel off very easily.

There are lots of iridescent paints out there, go to your local Michaels, JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, or whatever craft store you have there. All of those stores have very helpful staff who will know exactly what you need.

Iridescent (correct spelling) pearl paints are one way to go. Another is to buy the new paints that are one color when you look at them from one direction, and another color when you look at them from another direction. I tried to find the name of them for you, but couldn't find my bottles of it. Most art supply stores carry it -that's how I found it. It's fun to use.

you can go to a craft or artist supply store and ask them for a glossy irredecent pearl paint. that should do the trick.
