Killing yourself is never the answer. I would talk to someone that you trust, and they will help. I have ADD myself, and it only improved when I opened up and talked about my feelings. Just coming on here should help you become more confident in talking w/ppl and reading advice. Good luck!

Not being able to focus
can be other things, too.
Depression, a bump to the head, too much stress, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociation (feeling somewhat apart or disconnected from the here and now),
grief, emotional upsetness if something upsetting is happening,
a side-effect or reaction from any drug, not eating or drinking, loss of sleep.........
See if you can find someone to give you a shoulder massage. This should help you to relax some, to feel better, to calm you. Your life is valuable. any one particular function of the mind or body does not change your value. We all have something that doesn't work quite right. It's not a big deal,
so take a deep breath and calm yourself. Take a day to relax without the pressure. Learn to pray to God. I think you will feel a little better and find the value in life.

I have ADD and I never took meds nor wanted to kill myself. I just don't accept someone elses label of me who has never had ADD in their entire life. Have you noticed that all psychiatrists "don't" take the meds they prescribe?

Are you on your meds? I have a friend with ADHD and he's in college. He has trouble with homework, but he is passing his courses. Try picking 3 things that need to be done, and going back and forth between them.

Maybe you need a medication adjustment. Also if you are stressed this may make it worse. I know it can be horrible when people do not have patience with you and demands are made of you, when you cannot help it.

Suicide is not the answer. Get help if you are suicidal. There is treatment for ADD, and for depression. Please take care of yourself.
