Happened to me once. Call the Soc. Sec. administration right away and advise them the card was stolen, then get a new number for the wee one. Call your bank, tell them you lost the card, and what you think the last transaction you made with the card was. Finally, call your insurance providers and ask them to replace the cards. It sucks, but not the end of the world.

Not to me ,
I would Never run around with my SS card or any paperwork with my SS # , in my wallet .

You should call SS today , and report the last cards .
You should also notify the big 3 ( Experian , Transunion and Equifax , i think ) to freeze your account ( to NOT issue any new cards ) due to lost SS cards , until you have things resolved .

Hope people aren't ordering new credit card accounts with your info and going on shopping sprees .

geez, it is often relaxing. Do you have any concept the place you lost it? If it replaced into at a save ask if anyone has discovered it. reliable activity on cancelling the taking part in cards and the fraud alert. you may verify your credit checklist for unfastened in some weeks given which you place the alert on. make particular not something seems humorous. Get a clean license. optimistically it turns up with out any issues.

Report everything right away...to the DMV....they can get you a new license, and then be watching for the stolen one....and call the Social Security Office and report the stolen cards...and they will tell you what to do.

Of course it has happened to a lot of people...and if you report it right away, they will tell you how to handle it....they have everything on file by the birth dates...even your child.

Then you have to watch your credit account to be sure now one tries to use it...then you can report it right away.
