Yes,the Brotherhood has provided a fun way to mess with the questioner's head.

Actually, sometimes I do un-click and then re-click a star, to intice new support to a question, that I have found to be of interest...(not sure If that does any good or not). Reguardless,it does provide hours of entertainment,if you are really bored.

No, I didn't know that...thanks.

...do you happen to know if this stops the notification to your contacts about your star? If so, how long do we have to take back a star after we give it before the system notifies our contacts that we starred it?...and if we un-star it after the notices go out, does it let our contacts know we changed our mind?

Yup. Sometimes I accidentally click on the star, and I take it back.

Wow. That explains so much now...........

What would explain more is if stars disappear when the "starer"'s account is suspended.
