You have well put it for in fact to the skeptic there is no sufficient proof, but those that believe find more than enough proof unfolding before them every moment.

I dont think an atheist would truely be swayed by proof. I believe an atheist chooses to not accept the current paths to spirit or faith because it does not ring true or feel right for them.
You must keep in mind how childish such a proclaimation would be "show me proof and i will believe" it say's 14 year old all over it.
I think life ingeneral teaches the proof of the existance of something, but does it nessacarily have to be god. I know many atheists who are spiritual, just not in the way that most spiritualists percieve...To be an atheist is to say you do not find religious conformity compelling or useful...but then their are many levels of atheism...so it it is hard to even ask this question without being general....
Seems as though you have put alot of though into this question, and that you find atheists in poor favour, because you do not understand them - They share the same feelings when confronted by christians.
Maybe if you stopped putting thought into how you can effect someone spiritually and focus on your own path, you might come to the same conclusion that i propose here.
While the bible and its stories are valid to a christian, and make so much sense to one who follows christ - it doesnt, and will never ring the same tone of truth for every person.

"And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Luke 16:31).
It is shocking and sad to realize that some people are so stubborn and hardened in their sin that they wouldn't even repent if a dead zombie came to witness to them. This is exactly what the Bible teaches. If a person will NOT listen to the preachers and the Word of God, then of a certainty they will NOT listen to the living dead. All the proof you need of God's existence is to open your eyes and look around you.
"The heavens declare the glory of God..." (Psalm 19:1).
Jesus is everything that can be desired and all that any sane person could want--and more. Jesus is the Lily of the Valley, the Everlasting God, the Eternal Word, the Saviour, the Creator, our Protector, our Lord.

Well you have to understand, humans, for all our intellect and knowledge, are extremely dull, gullible beings that often have difficulty perceiving even the most basic things around us. Even if the "truth" and the "proof" of something were placed immediately and in plain view of a human being, most people still would not see, perceive, believe, or understand. The Earth has always been round yet for hundreds of years people believed it was flat. Even to this day, there are still a small yet hardcore clique of persons who insist that all photographs taken of Earth from space are false, that the Earth is truly flat, and that the Moon landings are fake. And to consider more terrestrial matters, there are still people who actually believe that when a 30-year career politician suddenly announces his resignation and states his rationale is "to spend more family time" it really is because he wants to spend more time with them, or that when a certain heavily guarded political leader is assassinated by a man with a grossly inaccurate rifle ordered from a traceable source it is, in fact, the result of "one lone angry gun nut." People don't see the truth, they can't tell when they're being lied to, and they're usually happiest when people keep lying to them.
So when you consider something as exceptional as the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead, or ponder why no one believes that God exists despite the fact that "the proof that there is a Creator is that there is a Creation" it rests entirely upon the fact that people are people.
Remember, there are people who saw Jesus, talked with Him, ate with Him, even touched Him and still didn't believe He was God in the flesh. Even with physical proof right in front of them, their human minds were so "human" that they couldn't even discern the time of their visitation.

I can think of many ways I could be convinced of God's existence. Here is one: I am thinking of 3 books, please just have one of your believers send me an email (or any form of communication) with the titles. [Hint to the creator... I am thinking of 3 books, they are not The Bible, The Koran, nor the Book of Mormon.]
Here is another: The Bible could have specific predictions, like the dates of volcanic eruptions, appearances of comets, dates of earthquakes, etc.
-An angel appearing to me in a vision would probably do it.
-Convincing evidence that someone could resurrect the dead. (not just some book saying that someone did it).
-Truly feeling the Holy Spirit move me (in a manner so clear that it would not be mistaken for wishful thinking).
You however are convinced by "faith." Yet so are the followers of thousands of other religions and you think they are false.
I can then accept this conclusion if you will as well - Your faith is JUST AS GOOD as someone who believes in Thor, Zeus, Allah, Shiva, ghosts, unicorns, and faeries. Why? You all believe what you believe through faith.

The only proof that I truly need to believe in God, is the Word of God. For I see the promises in the Word of God being fulfilled every day. I have no doubt whatsoever that God truly exists. For his Holy Spirit lives within my heart continually. God shows evidence of his reality in my life every day. I know that there are many people who do not believe in God. And they would not believe in Him, no matter how much evidence you gave them of his true existence. They do not believe in Him, because they love their sinful lifestyle; and they do not want to give up the pleasures of sin that they enjoy every day; not even for God. But the day is coming soon when they will know that God is truly real. For they will have to face Him for the sinful life that they have lived here on this earth. And furthermore, the Word of God tells us that the Christian life is a life of faith. I do not need proof for every promise that God has given to me. I just trust Him, as the Word of God commands us to do.

I think you left out the most important point...
Proof doesn't lead to believing, it leads to knowing.
The existence of "proof" negates the possibility of belief (or faith). If I jump off the roof of my house, I don't "believe" I'll fall, I "know" I'll fall!
Faith has value, it allows you to function beyond the limits of what you "know". I don't "know" why faith is such as important part of God's message, however, I believe that it may have something to do with learning a skill, a "sense" if you will, that will allow us to function when our physical (earthly) bodies die. If a person doesn't know how to perceive anything beyond their physical senses, could that person function without their body...perhaps without the sense of "faith" our soul can't perceive anything in the afterlife...to those without faith, it is just a dark, endless void.

you are wrong,
if god appear and tell them he exist , they would believed.
now the question will be , why does atheist doesnt believe in the bible ?
in our real world now , for one source of information to be true , it has to be verified , else it cannot be hold true to everyone.
for example , if a reporter claimed to see yeti wearing bikini , and wrote an article , to prove the article , we would have to see if there's any eye witness who saw them too and have absolute no link to this reporter , and even though it's eye witness , it only support the reporter and not prove him to be right.
therefore there would have to be more concrete evidence such as DNA left by the yeti to show that the yeti exist , or visual evidence such as digital camera footage from several unrelated guy . of course the best would be that it is captured and seen by all.
bible are not supported by science , there are science that prove certain event to be wrong , such as age of planet and first human origin and the list goes on . sure you could prove this science to be wrong with fake science and other's fake method. it doesnt shows bible to be right in the science atheist believed in .
other evidence which a creationist claimed will be the creation of human , intelligence and so on . but all of them are mere assumptions . there is no prove that shows god created all this.
no doubt god could exist , but what make you so sure your god is the real one ?
none of the biblical artefact are found , be it noah ark and so on . even if the noah ark is found , it just show that the bible is right about the existence of noah ark . but considering that torah and quran also mention about noah ark , so now 2 other god also exist ?
if you do actually have the heart and sincerity to research OUT of the bible , you will notice that the divinity and life of early Jesus match other mytical character such as horus and so on

Sorry but I don't accept cop out answers. Show your proof. I have posted a series of evolution questions and defeated every argument that people presented on them and all of them were common falsehoods that creationist websites like to spout off with.
Please provide your proof. Saying some dude saw a burning bush because he was hallucinating from heatstroke is not proof.
