So, from me saying I'm Pagan, you should all be aware this is a section for light-hearted joking.
For example, I see Hathor or Dionysus dying from Alcohol Poisoning, the heavy drinkers they are.
Person who is most creative and thinks up the most wins the ten points.
People who say this belongs in Mythology and Folklore or spend their post trying to inform me that I worship Satan or that they simply do not exist get a thumbs down.

The first thought that came to me was "Tinkerbell."
Remember in Peter Pan, that if you say you don't believe in fairies a fairy will die? The remedy was that you had to clap really loud to bring that fairy back.
I think it would be that way. Maybe you say out loud that you don't believe in Gods and they would die that way. You could bring them back by acknowledging their existence through clapping.

Venus/aphrodite: Died from AIDS or some other sexually transmitted disease(she is the goddess of love)
That Greek god who tows the sun around the earth: dies from heat stroke
Zues: Struck by lightning
Poseidan: drowning
The Goddess: dies in child-birth
The God(Pagan one): Dies from genetic disorder(he's been inbreeding for centuries)
God(christain one): slips on his long beard and bangs his head on his throne.

I'm not a pagan so can't really address your question however in the same spirit of lightheartedness as your question I can tell you that if a duck had longer legs, it wouldn't bump it's butt when it walked...
