A most interesting Q to wake up to this morning.........
I have been living in my fantasy world a bit too much as of late, and a dear friend reminded me the reason people live in dream land, is we are not able to find true Joy in our reality. I thought about this and decided I want to find happiness in my reality, in the moment, whether I am poor or rich, single or in a relationship, at work or on vacation, I want to know Love by extending it, whether it comes back at me or not. I want to be committed to Love and keep gratitude in my heart. A great teacher once told me during one of my pity parties years ago, "Find five things everyday that you are grateful for, and if that is too hard, find twenty five"..............Now I'm not dreaming about being happy, I am happy! A deep appreciation is growing in me for All That Is....
Peace dear man

There were three things my martial arts master teacher said to me at my final (last?) lesson. One of them was, and this was said with deepest insistence: Never let go of your dreams. Dreams are visions that can be manifested if we work toward drawing them down to the physical. Without having a dream to live for, what is the blasted point? All these negative thoughts of, oh, face reality, stay clear in where you are in your present place, live where you are -- fine and dandy, but what about who we see ourselves as becoming? Do we give up on that perception? Is that not also a dream? The dream of returning to an enlightened state and being part of the Tao as energy, is that something we should let go of because it is a dream? Pipe dreams? Okay -- let them go, or break them down so that there is a viable goal. But do NOT let them go completely.

We have the power to choose what path we will walk to reach our journey's end. Our own dream can form the basis for that path. Why not walk it with desire? Why walk it with mediocrity?

Do not wake up. Own it. Live it. Think it, feel it, be it, ARE it.

Peace.

Of course to wake up.

While you are in a dream, you believe it,as true.
As soon as you know its a dream,
you have already woken up,
or you are in the process to get awakened.

Those who remain asleep and dont wake up
at all , are seen as
DEAD.

So the choice is to remain as dead or to be
alive.

Anyone can say that he wants to be alive.
But the question is what is the meaning of being alive.

Someone asked buddha "Are you a god, a holy saint ,
or what?"
Buddha replied "I am awakened"
But what is awakened.
Buddha gives you the method , the path,
he is just a teacher, you have to walk the path.
No one can walk for you.
You have to reach there.
You , yourself have to look with in the
working of mind and body
and rise above it,
into the realm
of the
unexplained.

Wake up is better option, wherein u know that it was an illusion.

However its difficult for most of the people, let them follow it, realise it or see it shattered. Become happy or sad and thereafter follow another dream. The process continues till one wakes up and rarely one wakes up.

With Love

If at all possible and not likely to harm you or others, Go For It! Visualise every day the things you want to do and the things you want to have, they will eventually come to you. If I didn't believe that I wouldn't want to go on living
and remember if it is wealth you want when you do get it - I want a pink limo (stretch bus type) as well as a large house for the family with a swimming pool - OK?
lots of good wishes

In following a dream there is always a cost. It is always best to weigh up the cost and then decide if the dream is worth it.

Have faith that it will come to pass. Take the opportunities that arise for working towards the goals of the future, but when seeking to fulfill your dream is not practicable (in this moment), spend your time enjoying the blessings and people that you already have in the here and now.

Love to you, too. :-)

There is not a soul manifest within this material world that isn't in some way polluted with ignorance (to some degree). Perhaps some people think that chasing after and succeeding in obtaining something (one ''dreamed to be perfect'') here on earth is going to find them true happyness? Even if one obtained something perfect: (something or some person that one strived for) would he find enlightenment (repose within movement) within himself? My opinion is that enlightenment is not achieved by striving for relationships or possions to make oneself happy. Do not lose heart, read on.

Searching for possesions here on earth, and finding enlightenment are like new and old wine, they don't mix. If you sew a new patch of cloth to fix old trousers, then the old trousers will rip.

Finding enlightenment is the purpose of every human life (including those people some labell as perfect). Every soul existed before he was born here. Finding enlightenment is like growing a tree from a seed, one should chose ground free from weeds, and rich in nutrients so the growing tree will grow straight and tall, and become a resting place for all the birds.
Find a supply of nutrients: Search for the root of everything, there you will find rest in movement (like water) and personal contentment. For a shark will never stops swimming, for if he did he would suffercate.

Suceeding in owning possesions or dominion only brings one temporary euphoria that ages and dies with the world (like a drug hit). Unless one can give up wanting power and dominion (sovereignty) over things and people here on earth, one cannot enter the perfect kingdom. Yet if one gives up wanting power and ownership over anything here on earth, then the perfect kingdom will reside here, with the souls of the selfless, and those people will see it within themselves.

Give up wanting things (and the desires of the flesh), and rather concentrate upon finding one's true self. The true self is that which is often illusioned by the desires of one's own mind. When one can achieve knowing one's self, one can follow the selfless path; the dream that helps create for all, rather than the dream that brings possesions for one's self.

When one lets the light shine out from within oneself (revealing it from behind the shadow of the mind's chaos) it will shine and illuminate the path for others to see.

Only when one seeks to leave behind the world and seeks existence in love and compassion for others, will one realise what dream is worth chasing, and which dream is merely tempting one to fall further into confusion and chaos.

Rather than give up one's dreams, simply change the focus of them from a selfish motive to a selfless motive. When one has obtained power over the world, one will recognise its poverty and without hesitation be prepared to give up power over it.

Indeed, if someone takes away one's dream and destroy's it, without hesitation an enlightened person would start rebuilding his dream with worn out tools (and no bitterness). Those whom destroy the dreams of others deserve unending compassion, as they are blind.

Dreams define a limit, thus enabling the undefinable ineffable unlimited human soul to create usefull form from the limitless possibilities God presents. It is the motive and focus that separates the awakened from the illusioned.

For fruit grow's from a mature tree, and falls on the ground. An animal eats the fruit and travels far from the tree. The seed is depositied by the animal. If it lands on good soil, it will become a tree one day. If it lands on stone, or in a field of weeds, then the seed will be food for the worms.

I say go for it, totally! As long as it doesn't consume you! I would make a list of all the things that were important to you in life.... I would hate to focus on one things and then forget about the others! However, I usually pray for guidance in situations and ask God to direct me... It ALWAYS works for me!
