The last place you put them, silly.
When I lose mine, they're usually in the bathroom, in a jacket pocket (it was chilly this morning), on my desk, or on the kitchen counter. Once I actually left them in the car over night.

Yeah.. check in my wife's handbag... whatever you do don't put your hand in there .. lots of sharp things that women use for ~ I dont know and never have dared to ask!
