The simple answer is"There Is No Difference"! All they care about is staying in power, & lining the election coffers by screwing over the people that elect them.

I am a radical and for me there isn't a dimes worth of difference. One party basically wants to make everyone wage slaves to the rich. The other party wants to make everyone mind slaves to the way they think. Me, I think we should run everyone in both groups who think they can run everyone else's lives better then the person living that life out of the country in their birthday suits to start over somewhere else. Will not happen but it would make the USA a better place to live.

The Democrats are willing to sell out the common people for the sake of their special interest backers.

On the other hand, the Republicans are willing to sell out the common people for the sake of their special interest backers.

Democrats (by today's standards anyway) typically liberal, huge on political correctness, wants big government, higher taxes to pay for all the programs they want to fund. Thinks government should get into everything and God out of everything. Conveys message to people of lesser means that they need them.

Republicans - typically conservative, but not always. Capitalistic. I can do it myself attitude.

The democrats are willing to limit the rights of the individual or the minority for the "good" of the masses, as determined by them of course. Who is promoting the "fairness doctrine", who promotes "speech codes" on universities? It isn't republicans. Democrats believe that America is great because of government, republicans believe that we are great because of individuals.
