God is worthy of the worship of all of His creation, and is big enough for us to be the apple of His eye along with other sentient species if there are any.

Maybe humans wouldn't seem as important, but if the same god is worshipped by beings on other planets then perhaps there is some grain of truth to this whole god thing.
