I don't know if i am over reacting or what but it has felt like i have eaten to much food. I had 1 biscuit and gravt and 1/2 cup of potatoes for breakfast. I didn't eat anything after that until like five in which i had a apple, low-fat yogurt, 1/2 cup low-fat ice cream, and about 12 reduced-fat chips. Is that too much or too less of food for one day. Do i need a reaity check?

Thats a terrible diet. You are not eating enough, there is too much junk food and not enough real food. You need to eat more fruit, more veggies, more dairy, more protein, more carbs, less sugar. Low fat ice cream, low fat chips and gravy are all junk food -- okay to have some in moderation but they should not be the major source of calories.

A good diet includes 5-10 servings (1/2 cup each) of fruits and veggies, 3 servings of milk or milk products (1/2 cup yoghurt, 1 cup milk, 1 oz cheese), 2-3 servings of protein (3 oz meat or fish, 1 egg, 1 cup cooked dried beans), 3-6 servings of grains/starch (1 piece bread, 1/2 bagel, 1 potato, 1/2 cup rice or noodles) daily.

Although you are eating low fat food, you are taking in lots of simple carbs and sugar. It is not a matter of too much or too little, they are the wrong type of foods to stay slim and healthy.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and brisk walking. I have lost 31lbs/14kg and have been maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year.

All the details in my blog.

Are you trying to lose 30 pounds in a week? You should be more reasonable with your dieting; your body isn't able to function on so little food. Also, whatever happened to the Four Food Groups? Meat, Dairy, Grains, Fruit and Veggies? If your body isn't getting enough nutrients, you'll get very sick. Please, talk to your doctor if you want to lose weight properly and keep it off!
