If he actually existed, I guess he'd deserve some acknowledgment for accomplishing "the universe", but as for deserving worship, love and praise from me, well, I only give those things to entities that have demonstrably earned them.

Talk (the bible) is cheap, god needs to show me directly and I might consider worshiping him. Of course, god would first have to show himself.

Well, the God of the Bible is God as known and experienced by those people and communities that wrote the Bible, so to some extent to say we "worship the God of the Bible" is to say we are worshipping a particular testimony about that God. I affirm some of the descriptions of God in scripture, and reject others. But I generally believe scripture sheds some light on our path to understanding God.

Good gosh, Zero... why did you even bother to ask this question.

A real god would certainly deserve recognition - worship, love and praise would have to be earned, of course. The bible stories depict a god who would be pleasing to some and not pleasing to others... I would be displeased with most of what "god" has done but pleased with what "jesus" taught.

B U T ... none of this is important since the whole idea of gods existing, both in the past and in the presant, is an entirely false notion.

at first i admire God through fact He enjoyed us plenty that He gave His very own existence to make a fashion for us to be stored. all and sundry has sinned and are available need of the dignity of God and until we settle for Him as Lord and Saviour we won't be able to prepare love for Him. that's us that positioned us on the path of destruction, God grants the way of get away through fact of His love. If a individual loves Jesus then they'll prefer to obey Him. Their deeds in existence shall substitute for the solid. It does not propose that their movements would be straight away desirable, yet they gained't justify living in a existence-style of sin. those that think of God is a propose God don't be attentive to Him and could seek for to be attentive to Him.

Yes He does. I have prayed about many things over the years. I always receive an answer. Sometimes it takes awhile but I just keep on praying about it. I have witnessed miracles and I have seen people drop dead. [Must have been worse than I thought. God gave them to Satan...] God is working always. The Holy Spirit is tireless in his efforts on the behalf of the believer. Jesus Christ is our intercessor. I'm with them. For me, I have an army behind me - God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, at least 2 gnarly Guardian Angels, Wisdom. What's not to worship, love, and praise?

I am interested in, John, the 12th answerer, to expound on his views of no God being in the bible. I mean it even sounds like something in atheist wouldn't even say, because they would use logic and say there is a (god) in the bible , but he's a fairy tale and doesn't really exist.
Just curious as to your angle? Turn on your e-mail.

Why?
I make my own bread - do I expect the bread to worship me for making it? --- especially when I'm gonna do what I want with it regardless.

Do I expect my computer to thank Dell for making it?
Do I expect Daihatsu for making it?
It's a ludicrous idea.
