I was beaten daily in the name of god my entire childhood, that childhood ending quite early, and although the Christians couldn't finish the job of making me a martyr, I can do miracles in the kitchen. So, may I be considered a Saint by one of the myriads of various sects in christianity?

I am sorry about the misuse of Christianity...i actually see very few real Christians,....But, your abilities in the kitchen are a blessing and a gift from God.

I hope you turned your bad childhood into a wonderful and rewarding life.

I was Beaten in the Bedroom as a child, does that mean that as an adult I am wonderful in the bedr.......oh nevermind?! LOL

My Christian father also beat me regularly, tortured and killed my pet dog, broke several of my bones, and much worse. I attribute it to his alcoholism, not his religion. I chose to remain a Christian. You're probably not a candidate for sainthood just for having endured abuse by Christians. If I'm reading correctly, you weren't being tortured for defending Christian beliefs (in the manner of a true saint or martyr) and by your own admission, you no longer adhere to those beliefs anyhow. So I'd say that you're a candidate for being strong, and for being a survivor, but maybe not for sainthood. It's okay. Nobody's going to make me a saint any time soon, either. But miracles in the kitchen? That's pretty good. Wish I could do some of those.

You have been made a warrior and endured the ways of the warrior before you knew what such a thing was. Seek a healing from this. The scars on your body may be faint, but the scars on your soul have not healed.

I know of one other...that this occured. He ran away from home, although the reason for his beating did not come from the same as yours. He lived on the street until he was 15, and now, at 48 he has accomplished much and has been given great respect for it.

Yet still, from the Tibetan monastery, a reincarnation of a 14th century monk healer has come. We are going to meet him tomorrow: me, for the first time. Many things of the past must still be dealt with. Things we thought dead and buried have resurfaced as if they had never left.

Once again, into the breach.

I am terrified.

Perhaps for you, some day, such a thing will happen and you may again be whole.

Jesus taught God is Love. But what u have undergone seems to be hell and with heartless people.
Love makes miracles work. No love no life.

i was beaten by christians when I was 15. Am I one too? A few of my friends have honored me by calling me a Shaman. I think that I prefer that to Sainthood. You are a poet.

If you are a christian, then you are already a saint. Otherwise you are not.

Are you sure you were beat up for being Christian, or maybe you had a dorky haircut or something?
