Exercise, balanced diet as in little junk food as in u can eat junk about once every 2 weeks. Yes I know typical harsh answer b/c that's the only answer. Pills will leave or skin to sag, and lipo is dangerous for a 13yr old. The greens help you digest the proteins so you can get what u need and throw out what u don't need. If you can exercise enough that ur body starts to really feel the burn that's good. You lose the weight at rest (when ur asleep) rather than during exercise. When you work out, your muscles burn the carbs and fat after the workout and doing it regularly will get the body used to it. keep in mind it takes a consistancy)
the reason ur man boobs are pointy and u hve those hips could be b/c the adipose tissue (fat) carries a lot of estrogen and that female chemical can create these things in men. Lose the weight, lose the boobs.

You need to see your dr. You may be 20 pounds overweight, but I'm not at all sure that during the next 3-4 years your body may need that extra weight to grow the 6-8" you'll probably put on before adulthood begins.
What will not hurt you is to begin a mild exercise plan. Walk home from school. Walk the dog when you get home. Get some hand barbells and do some lifting. Lay off the empty calories, no chips, no soda, and no candy bars unless they have peanuts in them.
I know girls grow earlier than guys, but in one summer I grew 6". I was no longer pudgy (116), and my stomach was flat for the first time I could ever remember. I liked that a lot.
Take care!

Your going through puberty and these are all normal for young men going through that period of time in their lives. Push ups will help to define your upper body and sit ups will help your abs. It is important to focus on contracting the muscles in your chest and abs when doing these exercises. Its not about quantity its about quality! 10 to 20 of each everyday done the proper way will do a whole lot more that 200 of each done the wrong way! Look up the right way to do these on-line. As far as the pointedness of your pecks and the hips being distended it is very normal for a boy your age. Your maturing and in a few years you will start yo see a change. As testosterone increases in your body the "man boobs" and hip distention will lessen over time. Eat well stay active and you will develop just fine. I know it seems as though it takes for ever but trust me by the time you hit 15 or 16 these will be worries of your past! Talk to your Dad or a trusted male adult about these issues they may be able to tell you they had the same issues when they were you age. Good Luck RN

Before you try any excercise that might be harmful go to a reputable gym with your parent and ask to talk to an excercise instructor/coach. Then a dietician would probably be the next step to make sure you are eating healthy.

Talk to the coach or athletic director at school and he can start you on an exercise program. Your smart to want to do this now before your body gets into worse shape. You should be all set for high school and girls if you start now.

i would say that the weight is probably something genetic which may get better with time if you work at it.
as for excersize, i would recommend billy banks bootcamp, its high impact and focuses on weight loss and the stomache

I think if you are comfortable talking to your doctor about it, I would talk to him/her. Maybe you could also excercise a little more?
