Tom Tancredo

Right now my candidates are either Romney or Thompson. I think the issue of immigration will be addressed a little stronger than these two are in their current issue run since the platform still has to come through the platform committee and the vote of all delegates to office so don't be fooled by thinking that only Hunter's or Tancredo's stand will ensure immigration is strongly dealt with, they could lose the nomination but their stands on issues can be in the final platform.

What burns me is there is no good serious choice in either party for this important issue. Tancredo is good on this issue, but there is no way he would ever be elected with his other odd stances. This is a very important issue for the US, and none of the candidates seem to take our opinions of this issue seriously.

I'm still open minded about it. So far, none of the major candidates have taken a strong enough position against the illegal invasion for me. There's still time.

What a great question. I personally have not decided yet. None of the major candidates seem like they would stand up for the legal Americans and fight illegal immigration and the NAU.
We will see.

I don't know yet. It's a republican no matter what. I haven't heard A Democrat say something intelligent, and since Bush is so unpopular, they think it's OK now to spout off some of the most insane theories.

politicians talk around all issues that are important to people...they are for the issue if the people they are talking to are for it...and they are against it, if that's how the people are that they are talking to at the time...nobody will take a stand and clearly stay with it because of fear of being condemned and losing the election...once they are elected, they vote their own way instead of the way of the people...so it's hard to know who the correct candidate is...
