It's true that your eyesight will probably get worse as you get older UNLESS you do something about it. There are eye exercises you should practice on a regular basis that will stop the worsening of your eyesight and improve your vision.

I suffered from bad vision and was able to improve it completely with eye exercises to the contrary of what most people (including my own eye doctor) told me.

Here is a great program with eye exercises to improve vision you might find interesting:

Yep, your eyes are getting worse--and that's perfectly normal among kids your age. In fact, your eyes will pronbably continue to get worse until you are like 20-25.

The prescription of your glasses will probably continute to change at least for the next few years. Studies suggest that lots of near work speeds up progression but in our society that can't really be helped.

As for the answer that said that contacts make your eyes worse faster than glasses. I can assure you that it will make no difference at all. Some people wearing contacts may progress faster than people in glasses... but it will happen the other way around as well. So keep on wearing your contacts happily :) Just remember regular check ups.

Hard (gas permeable) lenses can stop your eyes from getting worse if you're interested.
You have to get your eyes checked regularly when you're this age as your eyesight can change. It could be though that the lenses need to be cleaned properly ( if they're not disposable)

Honey usually you should go to the eye doctor once a year. Sometimes your vision will get worse and sometimes it don't.

It is quite common for someone's vision to get worse as they get older; usually it stabilizes when they are about 20 or so. There is no reason for panic, you're not go to go blind, but you'll need to go get retested again.
