We just lost our first volleyball game, although it was a close one. But me and my teammates were having such a blast on the ride home and are in good modds...is this normal?

That is EXACTLY how my team is. We basically all feel just in a good mood because we went out there and tried our hardest. If we didn't, we wouldn't have a good attitude knowing that we could have done better. My whole team might lose a game, but sooner than later we are all laughing and enjoying ourselves again. That is something that is key in having a good team with great chemistry.

That was the exact situation I experienced my first game about a year ago. We lost 2-1 for the other team, so it was a close game. If you lost and are still pumped up about playing, this means you have been bittin by the volleyball bug and just love to play! This is always great, especially if you lose bad sometime, it will keep you and your team mates positive!

YEP!!! Completely normal. As my coach always tells my team you should always try hardest and if you win you win, if you don't you don't. Simple as that. It is always okay to be happy, if you tried your hardest that's all that can be asked of you. Also, you should tell your team this as well, because they might be thinking the exact same thing you are. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone loses a game or two. Of course it's perfectly normal. Life goes on. Have fun. You will survive, and pretty soon, you and your team will be super duper phenomenal.

yeah...that is normal...even our team lost a couple of times in the game...we always talk about the best thing of it...and we always try to talk about our mistake...even our coach always said that "never look at the bad times look the best thing happen on you and try to improve all your hindrance"...so after the game we always laugh at each other and teased each other...
