I have studied the Bible over 30 years. It would be impossible to tell you how greatly it has changed my life.
However before I knew much at all about what the Bible says, the God of the Bible intervened in my life in a way that was totally unexpected and I didn't even know was possible. He caused me to be born again by the Holy Spirit, through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. The transformation that took place in me was instantaneous and profound, changing me from a sinner to a saint, from a scoffer to a worshiper, from a hater of God to a lover of God, from spiritually dead and headed for the lake of fire, to a born again child of God with an eternal inheritance in heaven.
If not for that, I never could have understood what the Bible says.

I've been regularly and intensely studying the Bible for the past 3 years. I read the Bible all the way through twice a year. Attend Bible study on Saturday nights, Sunday School on Sunday mornings, and go to church Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesdays where I get excellent preaching from my pastor.
The Bible has changed my life. I now understand things that I never ever could understand before. I wish I had known then what I know now....I could have saved myself a whole lot of pain. I am happier now then I have ever been in my life. I have found that if I just obey God then everything else just falls into place.

I am a new Christian, and I got saved last year. After that I began to read the Bible... October, and I just finished reading the entire Bible today, so that long is what I have done. Now, I want to go back and begin to study verses, and get a better knowledge, my parents tell me that everytime I'll find something new... and I truly hope so.
It has made me a overall better and more contempt person through Christ.

For almost 25 years now. I read and re-read quite often. I have found it to be very practical and has an answer for EVERY one of life's situations.
I've also learned that you can read something one year, go back and read it again, and the meaning takes on greater depth.

I was raised 'in the church' (using term loosely). I am 49 presently. However, I did my own deep studies starting about 7-10 years ago. I left (then they withdrew from me) a few years ago.
The difference to me is radically different presently

I have been reading the bible for thirty years....
It has not changed my life, but when I got on my knees
and gave my heart to Jesus every thing in my heart changed...
I went through a metamorphose so to speak...
When Jesus inters your heart you change right then and there...Of course you don't automatically become perfect it takes a while to change and no one is perfect except for Jesus himself....
You do have to study the Word to find out how to change...
I read it every day and every day there is a message that I didn't notice before....
