Ech, they're all religious. Just because Girliani keeps his Christianity to himself doesn't mean he isn't religious. Clinton has publicly admitted to being a "woman of faith". Since Giiuliani has the brains to keep his religion a secret and agrees that a woman has the right to an abortion, he would seem the front-runner. I guess the same could be said for Clinton.
But actually vote Republican? Ay, never! Giuliani was mayor when I lived in NY. He did nothing more than any other mayor SHOULD have done during 9/11. He did handle it well but that is not the be all and end all of Giuliani's politics. If I hear one more person tell me they are going to vote for him based on the fact that he was where he was SUPPOSED to be on 9/11 I will projectile vomit. It's amazing how one politician doing his job well one day garners votegetters.
As for the Democrats? Right now, I couldn't even make a choice. I hope the list gets longer and better. I lived under Romney too. Our current governor, Deval Patrick, would make a fine President, I believe. Ah, but he's of color... and you know America.

I don't pay attention to religious beliefs when I think about candidates. If I think that if they are stupid enough to try and allow their religion to influence major decisions, then I'd take that into consideration, but a candidate could be a Satanist for all I care. The president is elected to lead, not to impose religion on the country, and if the candidate understands that, then religion will not be an issue.

Personally I don't take the polls of United States citizens into account when regarding how religious a candidate is. I take much more seriously how religious those candidates SAY they are.
Of course very often politicians stumble all over each other to try and scream: "I'm more god-fearing than my opponent!" But that just tells me everything I need to know: the more they profess their belief in a magical flying zombie named Jesus, the more delusional they are.
Besides, it's way too early to say who I will vote for just yet.

I consider myself Agnostic and there is no way I'm voting for Giuliani. The political race has more issues than just those of religion.

Voting religion is a bad idea. Christians may have swung the election of Bush and look what a disaster that was. And speaking of Bush, he has virtually guaranteed that the next administration will go to the Democrats. Republicans don't have a snowball's chance after mess they made.

Very important. I want the least religious person in office. Religion does not equal morality, just look at all of the scandals involving religious leaders and politicians throughout history. I would rather have a good person in office whose judgment is not guided by a deity who may or may not exist.

Yep, anyone who doesn't hear voices from a magic sky fairy would be a good candidate to be at the helm of the mightiest military power the world has ever known..
There are now enough religious fruitcakes as a political power base that they will always be pandered to by whoever is in power..
Enjoy the ride folks..

Don't be fooled by Guiliani.
He may not seem to be religious..but he is just as judgmental, pigheaded and out of touch.
He wanted to yank federal funding to the Brooklyn museum because they defaced an image of the Virgin Mary.
I guess he forgot what feedom of speech was.
Guiliani in charge of the big red button is...and should be to everyone, a extremely scary thing!
Any man that takes his Wife to court because he wants his MISTRESS to be allowed into the home where his Wife and kids live... doesn't deserve to be President.
You cross him...and you'll end up with a nuclear warhead with your name on it!

Religious views do not change who I vote for. However, candidates with plans to (or do) use their religion to institute law I will not support.
