Amen Don. The Apostle Paul said, "God forbid"
Brother, you know there is a "Born Again Club?"
Yeah! Just repeat this prayer and you are on your way to heaven!
Hey, if you're living with your girlfriend, God understands.
If you're still slipping up and sneaking off to the park and having sex with who knows what, God understands.
If you're still smoking Pot now and then or having a cold one with your buddies after work, God understands.
You're in the Born Again Club now. You said the prayer right?
You go to church right?
You pay your tithes right?
I think we know where this is going.
I don't want to be those preachers on judgment day.
These kind of people are the ones that make the world say, "If they're Christians, I know I've got a chance at heaven. I may as well keep on doing what I've been doing."
I could care less what the preacher says who has no backbone. This is what the bible says,
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Do you remember the story of the Woman @ the well?
John 4: 39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did." **(notice she did NOT say..he told me go & sin no more!) 40 So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed because of His own word. 42 Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, 16 the Savior of the world."
Jesus did NOT condemn her..though he did "address" her sins. It was because he KNEW & she KNEW that what she had done was wrong, but if she turned from those sins in repentance,..forgiveness was at hand!
We do NOT have to "beat someone over the head" with their sinfulness...just try being as loving as you yourself can be & help them where God has given you the ability to do so.
Freely you have received...Freely Give!
The ones that Jesus was REALLY into "rebuking" were the ones that thought they were above the law & above being sinners themselves.
Luke 18:9-14
9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Remember the man at the pool of Bethesda ? He laid there for 38 yrs. He was never able to get Into the water when the Angel of The Lord came to stir the water. Long story short...Jesus asked the man.Do you want to be healed ? Then Jesus sees him later and said sin no more less you fall Into a worse condition. Jesus came to save the spiritually dead (lost, sinners) The wages of sin Is Death.....

Jesus never told a sinner it was ok to sin.
Technically Jesus did not rebuke every sinner, rather He taught them.
Jesus did not rebuke the one on the cross that did not repent.
Thank you for asking, these Q's make me think

By grace we are saved through faith. However, that does not mean we can just sin and think we can get a free pass. Also, just because we're "saved", doesn't mean we can just do nothing. Because of what God has done for us, we should feel compelled to do for others. (This is the extreme basis of the Lutheran theology.)
Also, on a technicality, it was Paul who wrote, "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace." (Romans 6:14 NIV) Martin Luther discoverd Romans while in the monastary, and under relgion, not living faith, when he thought he could never be good enough to earn his way into heaven. He realized that through grace one is saved by faith.
Anyway, I hope this helps.

That is true however, those who are not saved are not under grace. The first step is to get saved and then the Holy Spirit will be there to help you recognize and over come your sins.

Jesus Never did according to this scriptures but instead He told them go and see no more:
John 5: 13-15: The man at the Pool of Bethesda
13And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
*** 14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
15The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
Here is another instances of the case of the woman caught in adultery:
John 8:11: She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Every time He encountered a "sinner" He would tell them something to the effect, "Go, and sin no more."

Jesus calls all of us to repentance! Jesus came to transform our lives by his grace by the power of his passion, death, and resurrection. He gives us the Holy Spirit in order to do God's will. God bless.
