Utterly absolutely ZERO.

Quit worrying and listenening to the drivel from the NY Congressional delegation. The USAF, USN, and USMC absolutely will not participate and I believe the US Army has no interest either.

Depends. If the Dems win big in the next election, they may find themselves hard up for volunteers within a year or two. They do nothing to inspire the military or for anyone to join. With their obvious lack of enthusiasm in prosecuting the war against Islamic terrorism, the terrorist will in all likely hood seize the opportunity to press attacks against us and our allies throughout the world. As the attacks escalate, the US will find itself unable to meet the demands of manpower. Democrats in the last election tried to bring up the draft, so I know there are those in the Democrat Party who are open and supportive of the idea.

There is not draft. Congress put this to a vote before the last election so everyone would be on record and even the person the proposed the bill was against it I believe. There is no draft. No worries there right now. With the anti-war sentiment and Democratic lead Congress in both houses you don't have anything to worry about there.

Unless people just suddenly quit enlisting, it's unlikely they'll draft, simply because there's no need to.

And to everyone who answered already, stop blaming republicans for the war, or for a draft that will most likely never happen.

Short of a full scale war with China, slim to none. 5-10 years down the rode, ask again and the answer might have changed.

the military doesn't draft. There is no one who would reinstate that. No republican or democrat. I also want to say to the people who have answered this question...stop blaming the republicans for everything. Democrats are just as bad if not worse. That is why I am and Independent.

The draft is not upon us yet, but I will take a bet that within the next couple of years it will be there. Or maybe even before that. For your sake I hope not. Enough people have died in this war already. And many have come back badly injured.

None, don't worry about it. Under the EXTREME rarity that the United States comes under attack, you might be, but many local militias will spring up to defend their homes. Good luck fighting off 80 million armed to the teeth pissed off American citizens :)!

Right now not very good seeing as how we don't have a draft.
