I am a Pagan and absolutely abhor animal sacrifice of any kind at all...
OK you are Christian, what do you think about the millions upon millions of human beings who have been tortured and then murdered in the name of Christianity and your God !!
No point in denying it as I am well verse in the bloody rise of the Christian religion...
Blessed Be... )O(

2 goats isn't something while in comparison with the tens of millions of harmless sheep sacrificed via old-testomony Jews, slaughters that are condoned via Christianity. to no longer point out the human sacrifice (Jesus) demanded via the God of the Christians. Killing sheep, killing people... All of those "sacrifices" are brutal and deplorable, yet in gentle of what the Christian faith evaluate appropriate, the sacrifice of two goats, regrettably, is negligible. yet why is this question interior the "Politics and government" area?

So, you think that self-sacrifice, such as a mother for her child, a husband for his wife is foolish? or stupid? or what?
Jesus said "There is no greater love than someone laying down his life for his friends."
I sure hope you're never put into a position in which you have to make the ultimate sacrifice for someone you love - since you've just demonstrated your disdain for anyone who sacrifices for another, I'm sure your baby would be the FIRST to die while you save your own skin!
You REALLY should be ashamed of yourself! Your unfit as a parent, and as a human you fall short! You are weighed in the balances and found wanting!

to me. (a Celtic Pagan) the idea of animal sacrifice is horrible.
however i understand that it was a part of Celtic culture. and has been done at one time or another by people of almost every religion.
i recognise and respect other cultures. though i may not like their practices. i understand that these practices have value to them.
