whenever someone is talking about something serious: like a person getting poisioned or something I start laughing. It's not on purpose, and i can't control it. It comes out. I don't even know I'm doing it. I gets me in trouble sometimes. Can anyone help me, as to what this could be caused by, and how i can stop?

Be serious with this, please. It's a pretty bad.

it happens. it may be how you deal with stress. I tend to make jokes when things get serious.

I suppose you could train yourself not to do this. This means you have to think about what you are doing and decide to do something else. If you decide to do something else, it would be a good idea to think what that something else would be so it would be more natural to do it. It could be something like lowering your voice and saying that sounds bad or something like that. I also can laugh at inappropriate times, though not often. When I laugh it is because I can't believe what is happening (I'm in the middle of a ridiculous situation). I get hysterical with my laughter when that happens and those with me get quite mad.

You need a therapist or a psychiatrist to help you with this! Your mind is trying to avoid something serious by turning on your laughing instinct! A kind of denial...The sooner you deal with this the better..This is not a small thing!
