Minnesota has three tax brackets:

5.35%
7.05%
7.85%

It is a graduated system similar to the feds. Most people are in the 7.05% bracket but it is pretty easy to get up in to the upper bracket. Single Taxpayers hit the highest bracket at just under $70k in taxable income.
