A gift card so she can by what she wants. I know it sounds boring, but my friend gives my daughter the Visa gift cards every bday and she loves being ablr to spend her own money. She always gives it to her in a cute way. This past bday she put the gift card inside a pink water bottle so she can use it for soccer.

My daughter that is 9 wanted an MP3 player for her last bday. She loves it! If you have already bought her that then I would also suggest (if she doesn't already have) a CD player with some of her favorite CD's, early teen DVD's (High School Musical 2 just came out), Kareoke machine, DVD Player.. these are just a few. It really depends on what she is into.. if she is a girly girl or if she is a tomboy. My daughter is very girly and loves purses, new clothes, jewelry.

Webkidz is a big thing right now for girls around that age, my daughter will be 11 and she's asking for a Wi, X-box360 and a DS. She already has a DVD player, an MP3 player, TV in her room and a cell phone (we share that).

I agree with the first poster, although those visa cards can be a pain (you gotta use it in a certain amount of time of they deduct money). My husand and sisters in law all had fradulent charges on theirs after we all got them for christmas.( I used mine too quickly for that though...they all waited to use theirs.) The charges were fixed but it's still the fact of the matter. All the charges were for a dating website....we think maybe the person who sold the cards stole all the card numbers or something.
I'd say money would be great, or a gift card to a store she loves.

I have a 10 yr old girl and anything High School Musical or Hannah Montana would be great for her. She also likes clothes and definatly shoes..

my daughter is 11 and it is all about Bratz and High School Musical. As well as Hannah Montana. If she shows interest in any of these items then you cant go wrong. Good Luck

I agree with beach mama. That's a really tough age to shop for. You can do cash, gift cards, etc. Or just ask her what she wants.
Depending on your budget, I think she would like an MP3 player, a phone, a DVD player, etc.

throw her a party or you could take her somehwere and she can invite one or two of her friends to join (movie,manicure,)
