Does it annoy anyone else to see a big gas guzzling earth polluting SUV with all kinds of religious bumper stickers on it? Shouldn't Jesus freaks respect the earth? Hypocrites like this really tick me off.

Sort of a blanket statement you have here...but I know what you're trying to say. I feel too, that it would be the right thing to do to be a good steward of the earth, in every way possible. Especially if you are openly advertising your beliefs and your dedication to them--as Christians, we should all strive to take care of the resources that God has given us...it's not JUST about what we do in our churches from Sunday to Sunday. Thanks for the eye-opener, and the reminder that people are watching :)

Well said, Ms. Lady. What about the military chaplains? Or Christians who joined the military because they literally needed a job, student loans paid for, etc.?

The somewhat sad reality is that in today's American society, cars are practically a necessity. Therefore for some, an SUV might be better than nothing. Also, some SUVs do get decent gas mileage.

Also, just because there are religious bumper stickers on a vehicle, doesn't mean that the person agrees with them, or even put them on the car. Bumper stickers are not easy to remove. For all you know, the previous owner of the car sold the gass guzzler in favor of walking, biking and public transportation.

How can you judge what you think you know?

I think that everyone should be careful of polluting the world, not just, "Jesus Freaks". So, is it OK for an unbeliever to drive an SUV? Sounds to me a little hypocritical yourself.

mmm...well i love my Tahoe. i worked hard for my car. also, it doesn't make me a hypocrite just because i drive an SUV. if that's the case, you are a hypocrite for being on the computer using up a lot of energy.

Boris G: that is an untrue statement. I've been deployed twice. trust me...for the troops politics go out the window and we do our job. I'm proud to serve and more importantly im a proud christian.

Are you some damn atheist!? what the hell is wrong with you!? Oh, so am I. And yes I agree to an extent. I agree with blessed; you are a bit hostile. You do have a point of course. Also think about this, bit different; small dick, big truck. What point does you're question have to it, are venting or something? Remember also that Mr. Rodgers neighborhood, he was a priest I think, he never in the show mentions religion to change a person. So it is not all of them you see that are like this.

Do you think Christians are the only people who drive SUV's? Or do you think that the only people who drive SUV's are Christians? I think you're making a VERY broad generalization and using it to slam Christians.
...and YES, I am ONE PROUD JESUS FREAK!!! btw, I don't own an SUV.

To Lounge Lizard--regarding the "Support Our Troops" stickers: my husband served in the military and I MOST CERTAINLY DID AND DO SUPPORT HIM AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PUT THEMSELVES IN HARM'S WAY FOR YOUR FREEDOM TO GET ON THE INTERNET AND ACT LIKE A MORON!!!!!

d.d. is sweet - the term began interior the early '70's or thereabouts. some musicians that sprang up around that ingredient in Christian song (besides the shown fact that that they were appearing for years) have been Phil Keaggy (previously from Glass Harp) and the overdue Keith eco-friendly. The term replaced into reintroduced, in case you will, by ability of DC communicate with their song Jesus Freak.

Wow, such hostility!!! As Dr. Phil would say, how's that workin' for ya? Most people who drive SUVs, including myself, have children to haul around. Do you have any children? I doubt it and with that attitude, I hope not.

Bumper sticker-free-SUV-driving "Jesus Freak" :)
