in other words do you think that it is cruel to leave eathiopians to starve while we eat everyday but a cooked meal

Your question is one that I consider very frequently. I hate to see the pictures of the starving children on TV in all of those impoverished countries. I do know that in some countries the government officials who are supposed to distribute the food to those who need it, fail to do so. There is so much corruption in these countries that they will allow their people to starve so that they can be rich.
The answer? I am not sure there is anything we can do. People with a lot more influence than you and me have tried and failed. We should continue to ask God to provide a solution, and then be prepared , if He should want us to take some action.

People are in distress in different countries because of their Governments.
