No. But it is rare. It is not the same type of breast cancer that adults will get. There are several different types and you can not discount a secondary cancer developing in the breast.

Three types of childhood breast cancer:

Juvenile Secretory Carcinoma - small, slow growing masses that can be easily removed.

Cystosarcoma Phylloides - fast growing tumor that can stretch the breast tissue. Can be malignant or benign.

Childhood Lymphoma of the Breast - lymph nodes within the breast of children can become cancerous.

Anyone, at any age can get any form of cancer.

What changes are the risk factors.

The chance of a 12 year old getting breast cancer and probably less than the chance of winning the lottery!

If you have reason to suspect you might have cancer - of any kind, see a Dr.

The best treatment for any type of cancer is one that is started early.

whats up. it could be particularly no longer likely you have breast maximum cancers at your age although definite, adult men have been wide-unfold to get breast maximum cancers. Hormone modifications at around your age reason modifications it the tissue or it must be a cyst (which does no longer reason any probs) yet truly the terrific situation to do is tell an person in order that they might get it checked on the GP just to make optimistic.

I have never heard of a case, although I presume it is possible, especially if the female has developed breasts at that age. Usually, though, one gets what is called a psuedotumor (false tumor), in which the breast gets very large, but the lesion is benign, and can be removed without problems. That is more common in the late teens, though.
