So I have this Digital Camera and I love it! I kinda dropped it in water but it still works. The only thing wrong with it is that the flash button doesn't work anymore, it's stuck on "no flash". I don't want to take it to a repair place cuz I'm short on cash. Please Help!!!!! The model is: Nikon Coolpix L3

Look through your Owner's Manual. Somewhere in it, maybe close to the front, will be a little lightening bolt icon over the word WARNING! Below that will be verbiage telling you to NOT attempt to take the camera apart due to the possibility of electrical shock. That possible shock is from the capacitor that stores the electrical charge for the flash. It can be rather painful, although probably not fatal.

Unfortunately any repair expense will come out of your pocket since no warranty covers abuse from dropping or getting it wet or covered with sand.

Its likely repairs will cost more than a replacement camera. Use it as-is for now and start saving for a new camera.

try blasting a little canned air in around the button and place the camera in a warm (NOT HOT) dry place to try to dry out any moisture.

I hope it wasn't salt water --- that's real bad on electronics
