I'm a Christian, and don't care who wears a pentacle. Someone in my household wears one sometimes. I have been a longtime opponent of censorship, and that includes banning books or objects (such as pentacles). As for banning science books, I'd be in serious trouble if I wanted to do that. I need those books for working on my college degrees, and would also have a hard time teaching and/or functioning in the lab without them. I support research and advancement in the sciences.

The Church only got so powerful because of the Roman Emperor Constantine when he converted to Christianity in 337 CE, and Pagan worship was banned in 391 CE...
Over the succeeding centuries Christianity gained in power in ways we cannot imagine today...
The Church may be powerful, but it is not powerful enough to ban pentagrams or science books....
Here are 3 links to what a Pentagram represents, it is far older any Christian symbol and certainly has nothing to do with the fictitious Satan, as a matter of a fact the early Christians also used it...

Depending on where you are the pentacles are STILL banned, and science books are only around on sufferance so that the school district gets federal money.....

Has it ever really stopped? I mean by no means am I trying to stereotype Christians, but there's always a handful of nuts who think that if you don't believe exactly what they believe, that you deserve the death penalty. That's just how it works. There's people like that in every religion...
