One of my mom's eyes is dilated, and I have noticed this a few weeks back too. What could this mean?

It means she should see an ophthalmologist ASAP. Glaucoma and macular degeneration are common, and both cause blindness. I'm not trying to scare you, but when it comes to your eyes, you don't want to mess around. If money is tight, an optometrist would be fine. But get her to go ASAP. There's one in the mall next to Lenscrafters. Or look in the Yellow Pages. Everything is gonna be fine, but make sure she goes. Thanks. :)

Did she get hit in the head? A concussion will do that. Or if she lost her glasses, but that would have to be for a couple of days.
