Potatoes are the best root vegetables in the entire universe. There's versatile, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with them. And with so many different kinds of potatoes, the recipes are endless! God bless the potato! Meat's best friend!

Potatoes must be the most versatile vegetable on the planet. You can fry, boil, grill, steam, roast, etc them. You can add or dip them in most any condiment. They are almost impossible to make inedible (unless you burn them to a crisp). They are the perfect side dish for almost any meal be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack (chips). I personally don't know what I would do without the potato.

They're very versatile. They are a good source of potassium, and even contain vitamin C and some protein. They're inexpensive. They're filling and taste good.
