Passe Compose is like present perfect in English (have done). All you have to do is to use "avoir" and participe passe of the verb.

For example, if you want to use "prendre (take)" in Passe Compose, the conjugations will be as follows.

J'ai pris
Tu as pris
Il a pris
Elle a pris
Nous avons pris
Vous avez pris
Ils ont pris

This time, you don't have to memorize irregular conjugations. All you have to learn is "avoir" and participe passe of the irregular verb. In this example, "pris" is participe passe of prendre.

The best thing for you to do and this is what I did in school is to memorize the verbs for etre first. Here's the easy way:

The word is "DR MRS VANDER TRAMPP"

Descendre
Rentrer

Monter
Retourner
Sortir

Venir
Aller
Naitre
Devenir
Entrer
Rester
Tomber
Revenir
Arriver
Mourir
Passer
Partir

All the other verbs are irregular with avoir. You just have to memorize them.

-ir --re

courir-couru
couvrir-couvert
mourir-mort
offrir-offert
-ouvrir-ouvert

--re

conduire-conduit
dire-dit
faire-fait
naitre-ne rire/sourire-ri/souri

Irregular verbs that will end in "voir" will usually have a "u" in the end:

apercevoir-apercu
avoir-eu
devoir-du
pleuvoir-plu
pouvoir-pu
recevoir-recu
savoir-su

There's not that many to memorize. It's actually pretty easy. Good luck. And don't forget the accent marks!!!!
