hi.. so im a jr and this guy just moved to my school from far away and he is a senior. He is absolutly the hottest guy I've ever seen! haha... but anyway... He is kinda falling in with the popular croud cause hes on soccer and stuff like that with them, but he is totally a nice guy. So today I finally got up the courage to say.. "Hi.. sorry, but I dont remember your name" (even though I did haha) and he said "Oh I'm Tilman and I said "Ok, I'm Taylor." He said "Its nice to meet you taylor" and thats the only interaction so far.. I know.. completely lame and I sound like a freak.. but what I'm asking is for how to talk to him.. or go up to him w/o him thinking 'Why the heck is she just randomly coming up to talk to me' ... so yeah... PS - people think I'm shy, but I'm not too shy just kinda quiet at times ... so ANY HELP PLEASE!!!

:)

Why don't you invite him to join you and a couple of your friends to do some kind of activity or outing? Because its a group, it won't seem like asking for a date, but you will still get to talk with him and to get to know each other all the same! Don't go to a movie!; pick an activity where you can talk! Maybe try miniture golf and form 2 teams of 2 (you and the hot guy, and two other friends of yours). Make certian to talk with him, try to get to know him as a person and see if you have enough in common to have a relationship. Look at him when you talk, and smile, but don't over do it (you don't want the flirting to be really blatently obvious at this point). If you both seem to like each other's company definately have a couple more outings with your friends, soon you will know each other well enough that you could feel totaly comfortable asking him out for date with almost no worry of rejection (assuming he doesn't ask you first!)

One special note; if your friends are other girls, make certian they are not also interested in the same guy! You don't want the outing to turn into a "cat-fight" over him!

It would be best if the 2 friends that join you are a guy and girl that are dating each other, then there will be no interference with the girl going for your guy, and her boyfriend won't be competing for you and possibly scaring away the man of your dreams!

Best of luck in your mission!
